ABOUT THE GAME
Ask any regular casino-goer in Manila, Cebu, or even your tito who frequents Resorts World, and chances are Baccarat is their game of choice. It has a reputation as a high-roller game — elegant, fast-paced, and deeply satisfying — but the truth is that Baccarat is one of the simplest casino card games to learn. You don't need a strategy as complex as poker. You don't need to memorise a hundred rules. You just need to bet, watch the cards fall, and hope the math goes your way.
The game is played between two hands — the Banker and the Player. Despite the names, you're not actually the "Player" — you're the bettor choosing which hand will come closest to a total value of 9. Both hands receive two cards to start, and a third card may be drawn based on a fixed set of rules that the dealer handles automatically. The hand closest to 9 wins.
What makes Baccarat so beloved among Filipino players is the combination of simplicity, speed, and the near-even odds between the two main bets. The Banker bet has a house edge of just 1.06%, which is among the lowest of any casino game. That means more of your money stays on the table for longer, giving you more entertainment and more shots at a winning streak.
At KG77 ph, Baccarat is one of the most-played games on the platform — and for good reason. We offer multiple live dealer tables streamed in HD, a range of betting limits to suit every budget, and the kind of smooth gameplay experience that keeps Filipino players coming back. Whether you're betting ₱100 or ₱100,000, the KG77 ph Baccarat experience is built for you.

CARD VALUES
Unlike blackjack or poker, Baccarat uses a fixed value system that's easy to memorise in one sitting.
| Card | Point Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ace (A) | 1 point | Lowest value card in Baccarat |
| 2 through 9 | Face value | A 7 is worth 7 points, a 3 is worth 3, and so on |
| 10 (Ten) | 0 points | Tens have no point value in Baccarat |
| Jack (J) | 0 points | All face cards are worth zero |
| Queen (Q) | 0 points | Queen counts as zero regardless of suit |
| King (K) | 0 points | King counts as zero regardless of suit |
If a hand's total exceeds 9, only the units digit counts. So a hand with 7 and 8 equals 15, but in Baccarat, that counts as 5. A two-card hand of exactly 8 or 9 is called a "Natural" — no third card is drawn and the round ends immediately. This makes the highest possible hand value 9, not 21 like blackjack.
GAME VARIANTS
Not all Baccarat tables are the same. Here's what's waiting for you in the KG77 ph lobby.
The classic North American and Asian Baccarat format — the one you'll find in every major land-based casino in the Philippines. Real cards, real dealers, real stakes. Available at KG77 ph with HD streaming and multiple camera angles so you never miss a card.
Traditionally, Banker wins are subject to a 5% commission. No Commission Baccarat removes that fee for most Banker wins, though a winning Banker hand with 6 pays at a reduced rate. Popular among players who want simplified payouts and faster round settlement.
Rounds resolved in under 30 seconds. Speed Baccarat at KG77 ph is designed for players who want maximum action without the wait. Cards are dealt face up immediately, and the betting window is condensed. More rounds per hour means more opportunities to win.
A simplified Baccarat-style game where each side receives just one card and the higher card wins. Extremely popular in Southeast Asia and widely loved by Filipino players. Dragon Tiger at KG77 ph offers side bets, tie bets, and a blazing-fast pace that's perfect for mobile play.
Exclusive tables at KG77 ph reserved for VIP members with elevated minimum bets, private dealers, and premium streaming quality. Applies to Gold, Platinum, and Diamond tier members. Higher limits, more prestige, and the same competitive house edge.
Optimised specifically for smartphone screens. The KG77 ph mobile Baccarat interface keeps all essential information visible without crowding your screen — bet chips, road maps, score trackers, and dealer feed all fit neatly on any phone from 5 inches up.
READING THE GAME
One of the features that separates experienced Baccarat players from beginners is the ability to read the "road maps" — the scoreboards displayed on every live Baccarat table, including at KG77 ph. These visual grids record the outcome of previous rounds and help players spot patterns, even though Baccarat outcomes are statistically independent.
The most commonly used road is the Big Road, which simply records whether Banker (B) or Player (P) won each round in a column-based format. A new column starts whenever the result switches. The Tie result (T) is marked separately and doesn't start a new column.
More advanced roads — the Bead Road, Big Eye Boy, Small Road, and Cockroach Pig — derive patterns from the Big Road to highlight whether the shoe is behaving in a "choppy" (alternating) or "streaky" (repeating) manner. Many Filipino players use these roads as a guide for their next bet, treating streaks and chop patterns as meaningful signals.
At KG77 ph, all live Baccarat tables display a full set of road maps in real time. You can view them at a glance or expand them for a detailed look before placing your bet.

Road maps are for reference only. Past outcomes do not influence future results. Each round in Baccarat is statistically independent.
TIPS & STRATEGY
Baccarat is largely a game of chance, but smart decision-making can help you manage your bankroll and stay at the table longer. Here's what experienced players do.
The Banker bet has the lowest house edge of the three main bets at 1.06% — even after the 5% commission. Over a large number of hands, this small edge difference matters. Most seasoned Baccarat players default to Banker unless a compelling streak suggests otherwise.
The Tie bet looks attractive at 8:1 payout but carries a house edge of over 14%. That's roughly 13 times higher than the Banker bet. Place Tie bets sparingly if at all — at KG77 ph, it's strictly a side bet, not a main strategy.
Before you sit at any KG77 ph Baccarat table, decide two numbers: the amount you want to walk away with if you're winning, and the maximum you're willing to lose in a session. Stick to both. Discipline is the only strategy that works 100% of the time.
If Banker has won eight hands in a row, many Filipino players — and many international Baccarat veterans — will stay on Banker. Statistically, the streak doesn't influence the next outcome, but riding a streak until it ends is a reasonable short-term strategy.
Betting the same amount every hand — flat betting — avoids the trap of chasing losses with bigger bets. It won't make you rich overnight, but it extends your sessions, reduces variance, and keeps the game fun for longer.

CULTURE
Walk into any of the major integrated resorts in Parañaque or Pasay on a Friday night and you'll see the Baccarat floor packed with players — from young professionals to seasoned high rollers, from local Filipino players to overseas visitors. In the Philippines, Baccarat has become more than just a casino game. It's a social event, a competitive pursuit, and for many players, a deeply satisfying ritual.
What's changed in recent years is access. You no longer need to commute to Manila or book a hotel night near a land-based casino to play Baccarat properly. Online platforms like KG77 ph have made high-quality Baccarat available to players everywhere in the country — from Metro Manila to the Visayas to Mindanao. A player in Cagayan de Oro can now sit at the same virtual Baccarat table as someone in Makati, betting real pesos, watching a real dealer, without anyone having to leave home.
The migration online has also made the game more accessible to players who aren't comfortable with the atmosphere of land-based casinos. At KG77 ph, there's no dress code, no minimum table pressure, and no social anxiety about sitting at a table with more experienced players. You play at your own pace, at your own stake level, from your phone or laptop.
This doesn't mean the game has lost any of its excitement. If anything, the online format has sharpened the experience — faster rounds, better data about past results, more variants to choose from, and a community of Filipino players who are just as passionate about the game as anyone you'd find at a land-based VIP room. KG77 ph is proud to be part of that evolution.
